Honeymoon!

Well, we successfully made it to San Diego without any drama. The weather is a lot cooler than what we're used to but other than that it's really nice here. We're both pretty tired just from being so busy lately and there's no sign of slowing down anytime soon. We're headed to the zoo tomorrow and the Sea World sometime later this week. I'm already having a good time and I'm trying to take a lot of pics. I think I'm just happy to finally be married!

P.S. And the wedding was absolutely fantastic!

Wedding Day!

Allright... so it's finally here, my wedding day! So far everything has been pretty good and I'm very happy! It just doesn't seem real! I'm kind of just waiting to finallly wake up and it all be a dream. Well, since it is my wedding day I can't really spend any more time on here so wish me luck and tomorrow you can call me Mrs. Keesee!

Yet Another Day at the Library

Someone please just put me out of my misery! There is absolutely nothing to do at the library in the summer. To make matters worse my friend Traca has left me to go on vacation in San Diego! Luckily, I'll be there in about two weeks for my honeymoon! Things are really getting down to the wire with the wedding and my mom's starting to get a little edgy. I think she's going to need some better sedatives come the actual wedding day! Just kidding... I hope! I need to find better things to do with my time while I'm at work. You can only play so many games of spider solitaire before your brain becomes complete mush. So, if anyone has any ideas that won't get me fired let me know. Also, I'm having a small dilemma. I have to tell my boss that I need off for about 5 weeks because my soon to be husband is getting deployed in August and I want to spend his last few weeks with him. We have to go to Tennessee and to our hometown and he wants to spend a good chunk of time at both plus have some time for just the two of us before he leaves. It sucks because I think my boss is going to be a little mad but I've decided that this time with my fiance, or by that time husband, is way more important than any job will ever be.

New Blog

So, this is my first post on my brand new blog. I started this whole thing as an assignment for my Advanced Composition class. I guess the best way to start out is by introducing myself and telling you what's going on with me. My name is Brandi and I'm a full time student at the University of Central Oklahoma. I work at a library and it's quite possibly the most boring place in the entire world. Pretty much the only reason I stay there is that I work with some crazy awesome people. I'm about to get married! June 21st is my wedding date and I absolutely can't wait! It gets kind of scary in the last couple of weeks, a good scary though. Everything is starting to really sink in and I'm so incredibly excited. Wedding planning can definitely make you crazy, just ask any bride. It seems like no matter how much time you have, things always get a little bit hectic. All I can really say is that I'll be completely euphoric when I'm married and on a plane heading for my honeymoon! I guess that's all I've got for now.
